Operations Manager North joins as the company continues to expand

MedicX Pharmacy, a leading UK healthcentre-based pharmacy company which focuses on innovative and integrated pharmacy services, today announces the appointment of Peter Barker to join its team as part of its strategic regional expansion throughout the UK. 

With over 26 years of industry experience, including establishing a chain of pharmacies in the North West, Peter has spent the past two years working as a specialist Pharmacy Consultant and Locum Pharmacist. 

He also had five successful years with Assura Pharmacy Ltd, where he most recently held the position of Head of Pharmacy Operations and was an integral member of the leadership that built up a retail pharmacy business of over 30 operational stores. 

At MedicX Pharmacy Peter will be responsible for helping to facilitate the delivery of the company’s vision for pharmacy as well as providing support to a number of designated pharmacy teams across Blackpool, Lytham, Rotherham and the North. He will be based at the MedicX Pharmacy central team office in Chorley, Lancashire.
