MedicX Pharmacy coming soon to Bermondsey Spa

New state-of-the-art pharmacy to welcome first patients on 1 August 2011

MedicX Pharmacy, a leading UK healthcentre-based pharmacy company which focuses on innovative and integrated pharmacy services, will open the doors to its eagerly awaited new pharmacy at the Spa Medical Centre in Bermondsey, on Monday 1 August. Located at Eyot House, Old Jamaica Road in the town centre, the newest pharmacy in Bermondsey will incorporate the former Dockhead Pharmacy, just moments away from its previous location.

Open from 9am until 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, MedicX Pharmacy will provide traditional dispensing services and sales of medicine alongside a full range of enhanced pharmacy services. These additional services include medication reviews, and diagnostic screening services such as blood pressure testing, blood glucose testing, cholesterol testing and a Healthy Lifestyle Assessment. MedicX Pharmacy will also be offering a free prescription delivery service for all surgeries in the locality, available to everyone. Whether patients find it difficult to get around or are tied up at work, MedicX Pharmacy can deliver medicines to their home or workplace absolutely free.
