Andrew Butterworth joins MedicX Pharmacy as the company expands

MedicX Pharmacy, a leading UK community pharmacy company which focuses on innovative and integrated pharmacy services has announced the strategic appointment of Andrew Butterworth as its new Finance Director. A qualified Chartered Accountant, Andrew has over 14 years of corporate finance experience including 10 years specifically within the pharmacy industry.

He has previously held the position of Finance Director at Assura Pharmacy Ltd and has also worked for Phoenix Medical Supplies and Deloitte & Touche. 

Steve Jeffers, Chief Executive Officer, MedicX Pharmacy welcomed the appointment, saying it was highly significant for the company’s future growth: “We have very ambitious expansion plans and we aim to ensure that our financial management evolves as fast as the rest of our business.   Andrew’s experience will be invaluable in helping us achieve our targets over the coming year.”
