MedicX Pharmacy opens in Ashton under Lyne

MedicX Pharmacy, a leading UK community focussed pharmacy company based in Chorley, opened the doors of its new pharmacy located in Ashton Primary Care Centre, Old Street, on Wednesday 1 December 2010.

Open seven days a week, the pharmacy offers traditional pharmacy facilities such as dispensing alongside a range of additional services, designed with the specific needs of the local community in mind and to complement the services already provided at the primary care centre. The pharmacy team is able to provide blood pressure measurements, diabetes and cholesterol tests, healthy heart checks as well as offering medication advice.

The MedicX Pharmacy community focussed approach also includes extended opening hours. Ashton pharmacy is open until 9pm Monday to Friday and until 10pm at the weekends.
