Blackpool MedicX Pharmacy opens its doors

The brand new MedicX Pharmacy, located in Whitegate Health Centre, Blackpool, opened this month. The pharmacy is dedicated to improving the healthcare experience of its patients through innovative and practical design as well as the number and variety of healthcare services on offer and is open until 9pm, every day of the year.

The pharmacy offers three private consultation rooms, a patient information area including a touch-screen health unit displaying local health information, as well as a comfortable seating area, with a large LCD TV screen showing a dedicated TV health channel, alongside a wide range of services. These services include minor ailments, emergency hormonal contraception, pregnancy tests, smoking cessation, palliative care stock holding service and medicine use reviews.
