Patient medication reviews prove to be the most popular service to date

MedicX Pharmacy, located in the state of the art Lytham Primary Care Centre, is still proving to be a popular choice with over 2,000 patients using this facility each week.  The free review of a patient’s medication that the pharmacy offers is proving to be the most popular service so far. 

Lytham’s MedicX Pharmacy delivers a traditional dispensing service and sale of medicines alongside a full range of enhanced pharmacy services.  It has three private consultation rooms, a patient information area including a touch screen health unit displaying local health information and a comfortable seating area with a large LCD TV screen showing a dedicated TV health channel.

“We have been delighted by the positive response that we have received from patients since we opened our doors at the beginning of the summer.  It’s very refreshing to see our team being treated by the patients as healthcare professionals not shop-assistants, and we work with and advise them as patients, not customers!
