New services on offer at MedicX Pharmacy

Acupuncture and physiotherapy practitioners deliver a wide range of complimentary health options to patients in Lytham.

The acupuncture and physiotherapy services on offer at the new MedicX Pharmacy, located in the state of the art Lytham Primary Care Centre, are proving to be very popular with local patients.

With a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Simon Rennison, MBAcC, is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and offers a range of acupuncture and massage treatments during his clinic at the MedicX Pharmacy, currently these are held each Tuesday from 2pm - 6pm.  Originally from Chorley, Simon is a local, fully insured complimentary health practitioner experienced in treating all age groups for a wide range of conditions such as:

• Pain of any kind
• Headaches and migraines
• Insomnia and stress

Your physiotherapy is a local team of physiotherapists who hold clinics at Lytham MedicX Pharmacy six days a week.  The four Chartered physiotherapists who operate from MedicX Pharmacy have over 20 years experience between them and each is registered with the Health Professions Council.

Using individual consulting rooms each patient is given a one to one appointment with a physiotherapist to enable a detailed picture to be built up before diagnosis and treatment begins. With their in depth knowledge of how muscles, joints, bones, ligaments and nerves are related to pain and injury, the physiotherapists aim is to restore movement, strength and stamina. MedicX Pharmacy provides traditional dispensing services and sales of medicine alongside a full range of enhanced pharmacy services.  It has three private consultation rooms, a patient information area including a touch screen health unit displaying local health information and a comfortable seating area with a large LCD TV screen showing a dedicated TV health channel.
