Patients go to new chemist

The new pharmacy, in Lytham Primary Care Centre, has welcomed more than 1,500 patients through its doors during its first week.

The MedicX Pharmacy - which mirrors the opening hours of the GP surgeries - provides sales of medicine alongside a full range of pharmacy services.

Manager Paul Minton said: "I have been incredibly impressed by the design and fit-out of our new pharmacy. It is wonderful to see such a great facility opening in Lytham and to know we will be bringing extra services to the pharmacy in the future."
