MedicX Pharmacy targets the southern region

Bharat Rajani appointed as Operations Manager South as the company expands.

MedicX Phamacy, a leading provider of UK healthcare pharmacy services, has welcomed Bharat Rajani to its team as part of its strategic expansion throughout the South of England. 

A qualified pharmacist, Bharat joins MedicX Pharmacy after a successful 17 years at Boots Alliance/Pharmacy, where he most recently held the positions of Divisional Pharmacy Manager and Regional Manager respectively. As Divisional Pharmacy Manager for Boots, Bharat had responsibility for supporting the delivery of the company’s pharmacy agenda in London; he also explored new business opportunities and acquisitions as well as expanding care home operations. 

At MedicX Pharmacy Bharat will be responsible for helping to facilitate the delivery of the company’s vision for pharmacy. Through applying his extensive experience and expertise of working within London and the Home Counties, he will also provide support to a number of designated pharmacy teams. Initially operating out of the MedicX Pharmacy central team office in Chorley, Lancashire Bharat will then be based at the southern office located in the new flagship pharmacy in Apsley, Hemel Hempstead, opening September 2011.
