MedicX Pharmacy Ossett is now open

MedicX Pharmacy in Osset has now opened its doors to welcome new patients and former customers from Madina Pharmacy.

The brand new pharmacy, designed by MedicX Pharmacy, part of the MedicX Group, opened on 02 November within the new Ossett Health Village, Kingsway, Ossett. Conveniently located alongside Prospect Road Surgery and Church Road Surgery, it is dedicated to providing a wide range of professional pharmacy services to help you become healthier… now and in the future.

The pharmacy offers three private consultation rooms, a patient information area including a touch screen health unit displaying local health information, as well as a comfortable seating area with a large LCD TV screen showing a dedicated TV health channel. The pharmacy also offers a home delivery service for prescriptions, free of charge and available to everyone.

The pharmacy services will include diagnostic screening services, minor ailments schemes and from early November the pharmacy will act as a distribution point for Tamiflu on behalf of the PCT.

“The Ossett Health Village is a wonderful new health facility for patients who live in Ossett and the surrounding communities.

Wakefield PCT together with local healthcare professionals has worked hard over many years to plan and develop the concept for the Health Village.

The pharmacy is open from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 12.30pm
